Ok… WOW!
Despite some differences from the book, this was by far one of the best episodes so far!
The name is a bit misleading, since the ways take up a pretty small part of the episode, but the rest…
The opening sequence was the best in the show so far! I LOVED the Aiel! The fighting style, the black veil, the jump! Oh my god did you see that jump?! Perfect!
And the flashbacks, and MIN! She’s so not what I imagined, and yet she was so good! The visions were done superbly!
Also, being the next to last episode, the dropped all disguises - Padan Faine is no longer hiding in the background to be discovered, but is shown full on. Rand reveals himself as the Dragon Reborn…
I didn’t even mind the two of them going to the Blight alone!
And we finally heard Lan’s story! I’m just waiting for the “death is lighter than a feather, duty heavier than a mountain speech! I hope they do it in the final episode!
