Pretty sure they're going to Heal Mat before the end of the season.

Ok this very much explains how I didn't see him!We see Fain from two different angles, both standing in a doorway. One where he's watching Rand and Mat walk along the street, and another looking up at them on the balcony.
This +1If I’ve said it once.
I’ve said it a thousand times.
the Warders NEED to have companies.
DM, SDS, MDD and VC are the exact support structure Steppin needed to survive the loss of his Aes Sedai.
sitting in his room with single warder friend. No wonder he killed himself.
The Aes Sedai totally dropped the ball. They know how it affects the warders and they just left him hanging in the breeze.
that would never happen in TV.net
Yes, this. For all of it.To reiterate: AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Though to be fair to the show, he was a bit different since episode 1 with the “it could be warmer” scene, so I guess it does track with his show personality.
I prefer the rock-solid Lan.
I missed Fain... I need to re-watch.
I think his emotions are measured and in line, they have to let go of the collective grief . Then move on.Ok this very much explains how I didn't see him!
I liked almost everything about this episode. My two quibbles are
1) Lan being very emotional at the funeral. For all of the great discussions here about him being chosen to express their collective grief, I'll be moving past this quibble
2) Loial is not as I imagined him and I did think he would be taller. And where's the ears? But maybe he'll grow on me. His voice and mannerisms were good.
I wish they had put a suicide hotline/warning in this episode. Stepin had all the signs and they really did drop the ball.
Question! What does Moraine revel behind the goldy gilded cabinet/ door in her chamber ( after Alvanna leaves) ?
