So, I just had a look at my page in the library and it's missing some merits I should have. Who should I bug about this?

E-mail the Merits minions at merits@tarvalon.net and cc the Archivist at archivist@tarvalon.net, I believe. The Merits system is handled under her auspices. They'll get you squared away!

Elbie, your not the only one, heck, even though mine were announced at 11th Anni, and i have mentioned that they were not there several times, they still are missing. I've kinda given up hope.
Hi, I'm Serenla and I just took over this job. My intention was to have new merit minions hired by now. Unfortunately, I've been a bit distracted by our financial situation. Never fear though, I'll have new folks hired soon and we'll be working through the backlog.

Toral, I've emailed the merits@ on Vallah's behalf, but didn't know I needed to cc the archivist, or that I had to email the historian. I can dig up that email and send it off toute de suite.

To clarify, the Archivist should be contacted if you believe you should have a merit but don't; the Historian should be contacted if it's been awarded but isn't listed in the library

Just so members are aware, Merits are recorded and tracked quite closely. They don't always show up on your profile because they need to be awarded before they really count. I have many that are due but it will be a while befor they are counted official. I can see them if I edit or view the source of my profile.

There are many merits that have been earned but not yet awarded, especially the membership and senior membership merits. Most of the others should have been picked up, but people can get missed.
Kelgan and Arie have it right, if you are due something that hasn't been awarded, email the archivist/merits team. It may be they are aware of it and are tracking as Arie has mentioned ready to give it out with the next set, but it could have been overlooked
If the merit has been announced, but isn't in the library, email the historian, or you can go through your Hoa/CC and it will usually get added. If it was announced but we don't have a record of it elsewhere, we may want to get that verification first

Thing is, Arie, not everyone has access like that to the wiki, and so they don't know that it's set up like that. I've asked for a password to the wiki and never received one. I also understand that with the recent financial upheaval and subsequent policy changes recommended by Serenla, that merits are definitely on the back burner until she has an appropriate amount of time to slog through the backlog.
However, when merits are announced at an event, I would take that to mean that the person receiving the merit already qualifies. Therefore, who's responsible for making sure that merit shows up on a member's page? As Vallah stated, she was awarded merits at Anni 2012 but they still do not show up on her page. I've emailed, she's emailed, and no response. I'm sure there are many who may be experiencing the same sort of frustration. Hopefully we can get this figured out so those who are missing merits will have them on their pages soon.
