Ahead of the release of the New and Approved Tarvalon.net Blog we are hiring staff! The new vision for the Blog is a little different from the Tar Valon Times of the past, and therefore our staff and the way we collect articles will be operating differently.
First off, anyone and everyone can submit content to be posted on the blog, so what we are looking for in staff is a little different.
We need people with ideas and a passion to help put our community back on the Wheel of Time map! We will be working closely with Social Media and the rest of the Marketing team to increase our reach in the WoT world, and make some entertaining content for our current community.
We are looking for editors, SEO experts, idea people, writers, artists, and everything in between. Even if you just have a slight idea of what you would like to see in the BLOG, please apply! This is going to be a hugely collaborative team. If you have ideas, we want them. No idea is too big or too small.
The new Blog (still workshopping the name, may stay TVT) will be largely an external matter, focusing less on our community and more on Wheel of Time content (both book and show). We are attempting to get ahead of Season Two’s release so that we can be up and running and posting as things are released!
We won't just be focusing on the show though! While we are doing less community content, there will still be Community articles, such as event write ups, an article about the Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship, and more!
Who can apply?
Anyone. The only requirement is to be a Citizen and have ideas. There is no time requirement or quota of articles/content written. Please do not apply if you are not planning to contribute or at least be active in our forum when you can. There will be a regular audit of this. We understand life is a thing, but some level of activity is required.
