I thoroughly enjoy anime and am curious about your favorites and what you've worked on! I, too, am a board game guy, and thanks to a local game shop doing a weekly board game day, I've gotten to try a bunch of new ones in the last year or so. Have you played Terraforming Mars or Space Catan?
Be sure to check out the Guilds when you can. I look forward to seeing more of you on the forums!

Yeah, I'll give you 3 favorites, two of which I've worked on (in a sales capacity, not creative!): One Piece (which I haven't worked on), Chainsaw Man, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. One Piece because no manga/anime operates on such an epic scale (perhaps no series other than the Wheel of Time???). Chainsaw Man because it is really REALLY smart and the way in which it acts like a classic shonen megahit while also subverting shonen tropes is outstanding. And Jojo's Bizarre Adventure because it's so freaking weird!
Yeah, I actually just played Terraforming Mars with @Dorian Har'Locke like a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it quite a bit and I'd be interested in trying it again. I've also played regular Catan, but not the Space version. What changes in Space Catan?

Everything changes in Space Catan, but the underlying principles are the same: resource gathering, the evolution of the initial building to complex building, and a variation of roads in that they are spaceships. It's been a while since I played, so I don't remember any finer points.
Does the Naruto universe compare to One Piece or the Avatar universe? I'm curious: What metrics are you using to determine the epic scale?
As for other anime, have you seen Code Geass or Violet Evergarden?
