Thank you, Alyccea! :D This seems ridiculous, but for some reason flickr links do not work with this....:scratch Or maybe it's just bad internet day with me. :D

//edit: Yeah, it didn't cope well with flickr, but now it seems to be ok...

A late welcome to the site. I love the birds

Thank you so much, Shaerlyn Sedai! I put quite a lot thought to the name-thing. My first name is actually technically just one letter away from my real name, and the last name consists of some letters of my real last name mixed up and spiced with some additional letters, to make it sound similar to names in Randland. And so nice to hear there are also other bird lovers here! :)

This made me remember how i got to my name. It was a long struggle to find a name that i could use for a site like this. In the end i mixed up all the letters of my first and last names and made something new out of it. And now i use Naeris for everything. It keeps it a little personal, and still something different then your actual name. I like it.

I'm happy that you like birds - and my birds, too! A small anecdote: I really loved it when in the books they used bird whistles as warning signals, or other birdy stuff happened. :pleased-1:

Naeris Gaidin, that's exactly how I felt. It feels as if some personality is already attached to the name, so that you don't have to start with an empty name/person/character. I think your name is pretty cool. :)
