I know Zandera processes those pretty quickly; all should be set within a day or two :)

Would there be any harm in me sending in a second application? just in case.

If it's been more than a few days, it (probably) wouldn't hurt to send a followup e-mail, but I doubt a second full application is necessary :)

Okay, thank you. I have a feeling that if I sent a follow up e;mail, I'd find the reply to my first application sitting in my inbox.

You know the fact that one of the Blue Sedai was actually male used to be revealed upon gaining Senior Membership. (Which actually fell by the wayside for quite a while when he went inactive.) Now that we've opened up, I'm not sure if I should explain here, or leave it for later. :P

How would a guy go about becoming an Aes Sedai? Would he become a Novice and follow that membership pathway?

I believe currently that a guy would still become a Recruit, and then could choose to be Accepted or Soldier upon raising, visit both Ajahs and Companies, and settle into the group of his choice. But then I'm fairly certain he would be an Aes Sedai of X Ajah.

(I could be entirely wrong, but I *think* that's how the terminology currently goes)

IIRC, we decided titles would be chosen upon raising. So, a guy could be a Novice if he asked to. I believe the default is just to make them Recruits unless they say otherwise. Titles are then chosen again when raised to Accepted/Soldier (we have a few female soldiers and male Accepted currently!). But yeah, then once they're raised, they're either an Aes Sedai or a Gaidin based on the group, not their gender.

When I first became a Novice (I think Mychael and I were the first ones post-integration) I was asked which title I preferred. I picked Novice, obvs, and Mychael picked Recruit.

Correct - I was asked which I would like, though I was under the impression that if they didn't hear from you for whatever reason or forgot to ask, you'd go the traditional gender pathway.
