Also, although the gaidin are currently all male and the Aes sedai currently all female, as of January this year, this is not necessarily the case and anyone can eventually join whichever community group they fell is the best fir for them

So if I got to the stage where I had to choose, I could join an Ajah, instead of a company?!

Yay! Another enthusiastic Integration fan!

Although it currently looks like I'll be taking the "traditional" female path, I'm glad that the other option is out there.

I've been a member for over six years now, and yes, for me it felt like a long time to be a Novice for 11 months, I was only at that membership level for that long because I was still reading my way through the WOT books.

You'll find that there is a lot you can do at each membership level. It can't get boring if one gets involved in the things that happen in this community. :)

Satrim, I was raised to Aes Sedai after two years, and have been Aes Sedai for more than four years now. I should have added that.

The way I see it, each membership level gives lots of good opportunities for fun and contributing to the community. I'd say to enjoy each level, focusing on the here and now instead of rushing forward.

I appreciate your advice Onis Sedai, but I'm not exactly in a deep and thoughtful mood at the moment.

^This.

Take it from me, I've been Accepted for something like five years now. And while I'm excited about the prospect of one day becoming Aes Sedai, I'm going to miss a lot of things about being Accepted once I'm raised. Things like getting to guest with each of the Ajahs and Companies, and getting to share a dorm room with some awesome roomies in the Tower, and getting to help plan pranks with my fellow Junior Members... (but don't tell the Aes Sedai or Gaidin that I said that :look:)

Don't get me wrong, Senior Members can visit the dorms and get involved in pranks and do all sorts of other fun stuff too. But every level brings something different and I'm enjoying each stage of my journey.

That being said, some members really do like to shoot straight up through the ranks in record time, so it's totally cool if that's you! Every journey is different. I just want you to understand that the site is organised in such a way that there is awesomeness at every level. ;)

Again, I appreciate the advice Aes Sedai, but I'm just in a bit of a wierd mood at the moment. I am excited to experience this community and everyone of its ranks, but I'm not really sure how I want to move up the ranks. Right now, I'm still waiting for a reply to my citizenship application.

There is also the option of becoming a Resident Citizen for a while if you want to take a bit to just get used to the community. *smiles*

I know Zandera processes those pretty quickly; all should be set within a day or two :)
