I was here nearly twenty years ago. I loved almost every moment I spent here. Things have changed in these last two decades, least of all myself. I am hoping to come back to a place I once considered home. Let us see what this new chapter brings.

I know that the site has changed, the people have changed and the guidelines have changed but I am very much hoping that the sense of community I once found here has not. There are some faces I remember, most I do not but I look forward to making new friendships and rekindling old ones.

My favorite of those was Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson.

Dear. Sweet. Light...

It had been YEARS since I'd read a book that made my fingers tingle when I touched the cover. It was magical and amazing and I loved every page! I even wrote to Mr. Sanderson just to tell him how much I appreciated his work. It's made me want to read all of Cosmere but right now, I want to be reading WoT.

I LOVED the book! I sent you a message with what I wrote to him before I read it. (Sorry I didn't ask first.) You're as far as I got. I'm on TGH, one of the few that I've read multiple times but since it's been about 20 years, I figured I'd actually finish the series this time

In the past few years, I've read a lot of books but mostly for comfort. You know how people watch the same things over and over because it's soothing and familiar? That's how my reading was. I stayed with the familiar and comfortable like a nice, warm blanket. In the past 2 years, I've only read 3 new books
