A few months ago, we called for and received many great submissions of taglines for our community. These taglines were intended to go on the flyers that the Marketing team made for our membership to hand out at local events, such as Sanderson book signings, sci-fi/fantasy or WoT gatherings, and the like. In the interest of having flyers ready for all the A Memory of Light release events, we selected the tagline Reading. Belonging. Doing., submitted by Erin Sedai, for our first round of flyers.

AND NOW: since we have a bit of a breather now that A Memory of Light is out, we'd like you, the community, to vote on which tagline YOU prefer! Even if you choose the same one, we want you all to have a voice. :pleased-1: The chosen tagline will go on all future flyer designs for our members, to be printed and handed out at WoT/fantasy events such as readings, conventions, and other events/places where new members may be waiting to hear about us. One thing to keep in mind is that a major focus of our community is philanthropy, or being Servants of All, so hopefully our tagline will also reflect that.

Vote away, and tell your friends to vote as well!

I'm stuck between "Where fiction becomes friendship" and "Reading. Belonging. Doing."
I think RBD reflects the community goals more though.

WRT: "13 books, hundreds of helping hands."

I'm assuming that should be changed to "14 books..."? If not 15 for New Spring?

Can you not vote on polls on your phone? I'm on my phone and I can't see it...

You can't vote on the mobile site version, but you can vote from a mobile device on the normal site layout. You can change it at the bottom left of the screen in a dropdown menu.

I wish I could vote more than once.

Good explanation for people, thanks Ty!

And Belgareth is pretty much correct; the poll will close 2 weeks (14 days) after I made the original post. For me, that is Monday, May 4 in the evening - since I'm in a later time zone than most (PST or GMT -8), it will likely be late Monday or sometime Tues. the 5th for you. :) Your own timezone should be reflected when you look at the poll on your own screen, where your personal settings are in place.
