vBulletin - Theme Questions/Comments/Etc.

Valo has created the theme that we are using. It is not complete, and it is a work in progress. If you see anything glaring that needs to be addressed/fixed before going live, please post here. There are lots of nooks and crannies in vBulletin, and you might find something that we or he have missed.

I'm starting to think the coloring on the text is a little too light -- on the links, like if you're looking at the forum list. The more I stare at the forums, the more it's starting to fade on me. More contrast would be good.

Depends on the direction my screen is facing. Over all it looks okay.. maybe an #666 is a stronger color. >.>

I'm not sure if it belongs here, but is there going to be a "View new posts" button? 'cause that was super-nifty and useful on the phpbb forums. I see a button for "View Last Post", but not one to view new posts.

Under the main toolbars, everything seems really close together. Would there be a way to separate them a bit more so they look like different entities?

So... font sizes. I'mma let you change this around, 'cause it's obviously a little ridiculous. :P

Font Size 3
Font Size 4
Font Size 5
Font Size 6
Font Size 7

Basically, size 2 is the default, "normal" font size. And we have one size that's smaller than that and difficult to read, and five sizes that are much larger. I just think it'd be nice to have some in-betweens for smaller font sizes, and some of the font sizes are huuuuge. I don't see an instance where we'll ever legitimately need anything above 5/6.

Is there a way for individuals to darken the background? The fact it is white is killing my eyes.

Also, mark this forum as read, isn't working for me. Sorry it is working, it's because it has different colours for hot threads that don't go away.

Is there a way to re-order the stickies in the Introduction forum? As the how to become a citizen one should be at the top and Leora Sedai's should be the last one on the list

They change order based on when they're posted in last. Bump whichever you want to be top? Or just repost them.

FYI all the style suggestions will be taken into account by Valo who is doing the style. And yes, the funky colours will go away. They were put in there by Valo to (I assume) develop the stylesheet.

This is not helpful, but if the white background doesn't go away, I won't be here much. I've already got my work monitor set at 20% brightness (my normal here) and it's still killing me.

That's odd because I'm not seeing a white background. I just think y'all are crazy. :P

When the Home, News, or Forum buttons are highlighted (because you're on that page), the tab highlighting it sticks up above the brown navigation bar. (This could be on purpose, but it looks odd to me. It's something I ask designers at work to fix.)

Not cool. Informational threads that have too many characters are actually 'gone'. Nothing there. Empty post.

Increased from 10000 to 100000. If you need more than that, make a second post. :P
