Is it odd that I didn't want to waltz in saying "Hey, I'm soandso's husband!" I feel that if it turns out the site isn't for me, or indeed the site feels I'm not a good fit, then I can slope off into the shadows no harm, no foul. With a big entrance, it then leaves a swirl of "Wow, she is married to that dork!" if it doesn't work out :/
This place is really important to her, so I wouldn't want to inadvertently be a negative impact on that.

No worries man, name drop or no name drop. We're all a family here. I've had both my mother and cousin join and neither of them stuck around very long (although for cousin that's a bit of a different story). Rest assured, there's no such thing as a bad fit. We come from all walks of life and the person I may be may be completely different from you or anyone else, we all get along just fine and dandy. Live and let live is how I look at it . The worst thing I'll ever say about a person here is "I don't really know him/her"
