What are the rules/regulations on making some minor changes to an avatar if you're a senior member (i.e. color change, crop, etc)? Also, where can I find this information for future reference? It might just be because it's really late and I'm half asleep, but I couldn't seem to find it.

I did manage to find the thread in the Intro forum. Thank you for the link to the Membership Manual. It doesn't really answer my question though. It explains what to do for a complete avatar change, but it doesn't really address small edits to the existing avatar.

From what I recal, small edits are fine so long as your avatar is still recognizable. If you want to make it official you can always email membership@ and ask if the edits are okay. Since its just a small edit you are most likely able to do so without having to announce the change in the Avatar Change thread in Announcements.

That's what I'd been told once before (though I can't find the thread with it). Small edits like color, cropping, etc are fine as long as it's obviously still yours.

This. :)

As an example, my avatar has been edited to change the dress color to red from green and a flower was added to my hair. (Thanks, Ariana!) The image itself was not fundamentally altered.

Thanks ladies. :) That's what I figured but I wanted to make sure.
