Our Director for Community Outreach, Jodea Sedai, is on a LoA for a bit so I'm putting this up in her stead. I am sad to say that the fabulous Xylina Sedai has decided to step down as the Outreach Activities Coordinator. She has been a part of the OA team for years and has done a fabulous job. While I am sad to see her go, she has definitely earned a break. Thank you, Xy, and good luck with wherever you end up next in the Tower!
This means we need to hire a new OAC. When OA was moved to this Department last year, it was with the intent that the OA team would eventually expand its focus to include more work promoting philanthropic and charitable endeavors with our members. With Xy's resignation, this seems like a prime opportunity to begin adding those elements to OA. So our new OAC will take over the "traditional" duties involving birthdays and freeweeks, but this person will also be part of the new and expanded OA focus. It's an exciting time to be involved in OA! Good luck to all the applicants!
