I know what you're thinking, "OMG! We haven't even had the 2010 Fall Ball yet!" However, the longer we have to plan an event, the more amazing that event ends up being.
With that said, if you would like to bid on a location for the 2011 Fall Ball event, please send an e-mail titled Fall Ball 2011 Bid to naevents@tarvalon.net, events@tarvalon.net, and officers@tarvalon.net. Bids need to be submitted by October 20th, 2010.
Things to keep in mind when submitting a bid:
- If your bid is selected, YOU will be an integral part of the planning. By making a bid, you are volunteering to be the local liason. What does that mean? You will be my eyes and ears on the spot. You will be expected to do a lot of the leg work to find hotels, local activities, and transportation options.
- Fall Ball is generally held around Halloween (October / November time period) and we're looking for a tourist friendly location. Fall Ball is not planned out to keep everyone busy so having things to go do during the day is a MUST.
- Hotels with a meeting room we can reserve to socialize in are a HUGE plus.
- Normal Fall Ball attendance is 20-30 people.

Name, rank and organization of submitter(s)
Overview
Location
Personal experience with the area
Why you think the location would be our best option
Location
City (overview & details)
Activities (museums, sites, and other touristy things to do in the area)
Hotel Options (URL & Phone Numbers)
Transportation (Major Airports in the area, options for people to get to the hotels)
Support
Point of Contact - Who would serve as local liaison for the event?
Other – additional Tower volunteers who will help facilitate event
