Having finally had the chance to read A Memory of Light, WoT nostalgia goaded me into seeking out like-minded individuals.
I've read books 1-13 twice and some of the earlier ones 3 or 4 times. When Sanderson took over I was skeptical, but he dispelled all of my doubts after The Gathering Storm. If anything I thought he made WoT even better in a lot of ways. Since then I've read all of his books and have become an avid fan, especially of The Way of Kings.
I'll be honest though... A Memory of Light crushed my expectations. No doubt the pressure to complete the series in just one final book lead to it... regardless of where the fault lies, I'm really disappointed with the end result.
Anyway, I still love the series enough that I've joined to discuss it.
