I hmm 8 years ago? seems like forever but I remember fondly a few of you even now from back then. It is I Raphael! *waves his arms wildly* ..sorry, too many flies about! But anyway, I have returned with my sanity intact..and my invisible pet walrus says hi too!

I would love to become reacquainted with friends of old and new blood *flashes fangs* erm..I mean..look forwards to new friendships. I have found though it comes and goes I write more poetry then ever did, lost alot of it years ago unfortunately.

Am sorry for those I knew and lost touch with, life..got hard. But I'm trying to change that, has taken awhile to ..pull myself up, but the zimmer frame helps..wait, not that old yet! *grins*

Hope to hear from people, especially *points at* you!! :P

Well am off to a good start since you are both somewhat familiar to me. I believe one of the moderators to this forum, I knew, got to the point we'd not spoken in so long *my fault* I didn't know how too begin. Am a little distracted this evening with writing, and worse of all housework!..woe is me. I look forwards to getting to know all of you, not missing you out Roheryn *hugs*

I feel old all of a sudden! *adjusts his slippers and grumbles about how things used to be* I feel like a newbie again, a warm fuzzy feeling, though that might just be from cuddling ma puppy :P I tend to either write from the heart, some of my darker poems I'll likely not share, or I'll just get inspiration about a topic.

Some are about nothing at all, some are unsuitable for here lol, wrote a few from the viewpoint of being the Phantom of the Opera. Once found love when first discovering that musical.

I'm pretty easy going, certainly have an open door policy to PM's, hope friends of old at least know I still think of them fondly, some were like sisters to me . Lol, and I guess I do have a habit of saying more then I perhaps intended too, worse IRL, get nervous.

Me too! I'm definitely worse in real life. I babble on to try and fill silences and then it's like... "Oh crap, did I just say that?! I did. Oh crap, say something else! Argh!" :rofl

Ya I had a cousin's girlfriend tell me how confident she thought I was. I was like err..not something to discuss openly I guess, but always had issues there. I am very chatty IRL, I imagine that could make me seem to be different then how I am. Been something of a recluse for years, am trying to change that, small steps, one of my poems very much tells of that..in fact.

My journey

I felt so many pains, with so much I did
I had to snatch the reins, and so alas I hid
But did so find, after taking some time
Those so kind, dear friends of mine
Breaking from habits, doing what I can
Strength in perserverance, being a stronger man
One day at once, small steps for now
Long path of endurance, but guidance shows me how
So far from perfect, that eludes us all
It will so be worth it, this challenge over all
Putting me first, so long since have
Cutting out hurts, close few show love
Trials and tribulations, such is life
Dealing with frustrations, and all the inner strife

Possible indeed Had big, rather unpleasant changes occur, I became very introvert for awhile. Found it such a small world that a recently made friend was familiar with one of a long time ago from here. I think it is definitely a positive thing I am doing in actively seeking to be more sociable, it helps that it is entirely on my own terms too.
