A small tidbit from Brandon Sanderson on Reddit:
Not often. They do it when a show is popular enough, like with The Man In The High Castle. Are films/series/you name it from Amazon Prime, Netflix and so on ever published on DVD to be available in ordinary shops?
They replaced it with something called Household, which is pretty similar. You may only get shipping/pricing benefits though. I haven't looked at it in awhile.I'm lucky that my mom has had a Prime account for years now. In the past, you could add several family members to your plan and they could all benefit from your subscription while still being able to have their own account settings. They don't let you do that any more I don't think, but my account still gets to keep its Prime status from my mom's unless she lets it lapse.
That is exactly how I describe it to people!I describe it as LoTR meats Harry Potter.... it seems to work
Personally, while I love the books and what they have to say, I do have some criticisms in regards to gender politics. That doesn't take away from my love for them, and the impact they've had on my life.
From what I've seen from Rafe Judkins in regards to what he's planning, I think the show is going in the direction I'm hoping. That is, less of "women are inscrutable" from men, and "men are to be manipulated and managed" from women.
Lol fine.
YOU GUYS. Imagine talking to people about what Ajah they would choose like people talk about which Hogwarts House they're in now.
I guess I will be creating a savings account so I can get Amazon to watch WOT, then.
I really wish they reconsider that stance. The Internet isn't the greatest in my region so it can be hard to do things without it, and almost impossible to stream video with it.
