I had briefly changed my avatar for festival and now, sadly, mine too has disappeared.

I have uploaded it, deleted it, uploaded again, cleared my browser cache, all to no avail.

Help me?

Something random for you to try: At the bottom of this page there is a link that says "Delete all board cookies." You would THINK that clearing the cache would do that...but...on this other site I was on, clearing my cache did nothing to help, but clicking that link did.

Maybe give it a try?

You just need to do a hard refresh! Ctrl+F5 should work, at least if you're using the same operating system as me.

just wanted to say thanks to all who may have tried to get my avatar back before Sunday - it now seems to be okay, the Sunday one loaded and I think the usual one is back - I took the advice of someone a page or so back and just uploaded the new one WITHOUT checking box to delete old one...in case that makes a difference...

There is no real reason there should be a problem, I don't even do anything different most of the time. Like in Badria's case it was a simple upload. Occasionally, I have to reopen it in paint, resave, then upload but that's the extent of it.
