Overview
Members of the Outreach Activities (OA) Team hold staff positions in the Department of Community Outreach, working with and for our Outreach Activities Coordinator and, if you're into art, our Graphics Coordinator. You will help plan, prepare and execute activities. Applicants should be excited, motivated, and creative, and enjoy having fun! These positions will last until June 30th, 2013, although you will be given an opportunity to stay on once your term is up.
Requirements
Member of TarValon.Net for 3 months of any rank, Citizen to Amyrlin Seat.
Must be able to spend approximately 2-3 hours a week on the boards for planning, and more hours as needed during events.
Experience and skill with graphics, creative writing, leadership or event planning is a plus, but not an absolute necessity.
Must be able to follow through with whatever tasks you volunteer for or are assigned to do (i.e. no disappearing halfway through!)
Duties
Actively participate in the planning, preparation and execution of our official freeweeks as well as other events. This can include; coming up with ideas for activities, creating graphics, writing, etc.
Assist in running chats for events
Sending out birthday greetings to our members
Create/alter graphics/avs, etc. under direction of the OAGC
Please note that not everyone on the team has to do all of the above!
In addition to writing or graphics skills, we are looking for highly organized individuals who are able to lead small groups of people on specific tasks. Also- active participation on the OA Team counts as a contribution towards raising!

Be sure to include anything you can think of in order to strengthen your application, including any similar experience you've had in the past or other site positions you've held.
To apply specifically to the graphics team, please make sure to include your experience and skill level with graphics creation and/or altering of images. Please submit a link to a website (i.e. DeviantArt, Photobucket account, etc) with at least five examples of your graphics work. Send your email to oagc@tarvalon.net, outreachactivities@tarvalon.net AND outreach@tarvalon.net with the subject "APPLICATION - OA GRAPHICS TEAM - YOUR NAME HERE."
