So, I'd encourage you to start poking about the threads that are currently open to you, accumulate 25 posts and then apply for Citizenship! As a Citizen, you'll have plenty more to see and do around here I'm glad you are reading the Membership Manual, it's a useful thing, really, no matter what your part is in the community.

When I first joined, my main "hangout" was the discussion halls. You get the chance to meet a lot of the other members there. There is even a thread about education and employment. That might be of interest to you, since you are going to school right now. Don't be afraid to join conversations. We won't bite.

I have not finished either, some of us have not. I am stuck on....Winters Heart...I believe...because of school (and other books) So your in understanding company!

And name recognition is usually pretty easy...almost like school. Everybody here knows somebody for some reason. The regular atendees here remain pretty constant. I left a few months ago and returned a few weeks ago. And most of the people I saw before I people I see now.

Hi, you are not alone in not finishing the series for sure. I also stopped after Knife of Dreams. I decided to wait for KoD to come out on paper back before starting it, and it had been about a year between Crossroads of Twilight and KoD! So, needless to say, it was kinda confusing trying to remember character names and what not. I decided I would wait till the last book came out and re-read the whole thing over again.
