It is good to have you! From what I can gather, you are already fitting in here quite nicely. If you need any help, any questions that need answering, we are at your service. In the meantime, read the Membership Manual for explanations on just about anything, as well as stickied threads in the forums you post in - those contain a lot of very useful things to know - like how to multiquote to avoid multiposting (posting many messages in a row with no one else in between), how to send a Citizen application in, etc., etc.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and seeing you around here more.

Welcome Maple! I'm very glad to see another Dickens fan trout Cahalan!). Like Sailea I love A TALE OF TWO CITIES. I also love BLEAK HOUSE, and pretty much all of his books.

No matter how many times I read WoT I still get caught up in the story. I started reading the series more than 20 years ago and I can still clearly recall that moment when I knew I was hooked - it was in Eye of the World, when the Rand sees the black rider and realizes his cloak doesn't move in the wind. *shudder* I got chills the first time I read that part.

I hope you'll enjoy getting to know everyone here! We love having new members, and there have been quite a few lately. Let us know if you have any questions or need any help figuring out your way around.

Hello everyone! thank you so much for the warm welcome. Sorry I vanished for a bit, but I suddenly got a new job offer and became super busy and exhausted. I barely turned on my computer. I am back now though and really looking forward to reading the forums here. I am re-reading the series now. Almost at the end of book 3.
