Hello, everyone! I'm really bad at introductions, so I'm just going to follow the suggested topics in the "New? Need Help? Check Here!" thread.
1. Favorite WoT character and why?
Like, I suspect, most people here, my favorite character is the one who reminds me the most of myself. In my case, that's Loial: he's a bookish, naive, shy, aspiring historian just like me! Also, I admire that when the time comes for action, he grits his teeth, hefts his axe, and steps into the fray. And, perhaps most importantly, he's very loyal (Heh-heh. Please excuse the bad pun).
2. How did you find us?
I started reading the Wheel of Time books years ago and finished right around the time Robert Jordan died. I wasn't able to keep up with Mr. Sanderson's books while I was in college, but I decided to return to the series now that I'm a second semester senior. Rather than re-read the first eleven books, I looked for chapter summaries online and stumbled upon this site.
3. What do you do (student, job, etc)?
I am a college student majoring in Classical Archaeology and Molecular Biology.
4. Favorite book/author (other than WoT)?
Currently, my favorite book is Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited" and Waugh is my favorite author -- I appreciate his wit and brevity (at least compared to his contemporaries).
5. Anything you need help with?
Not yet.
Thanks for reading. I look forward to joining your community!
