Thanks for the welcome. My favourite character? Hmmm... It's a tough call, but I would have to say Perrin. I've held a lifelong love for canines and the wolf dream aspect of tel'aran'rhiod is fascinating. His quiet thoughtful nature has great appeal as well.

As far as work goes, I spend about 20 hours a week doing general maintenance around a small camping site next to the Gobos and Sonderend rivers. Otherwise you'll usually find me gardening or next to the hearth with a book, or trying to do something in a terribly outdated fashion.

I currently have one dog. He's a German Shepard called Thor. I remember people's dog's names before them, and have to remind myself to actually greet the owners too. But I now live near Greyton where almost everyone sees the dogs, cats, cows and horses that wander around the village as citizens. I've pretty much always had between one and three dogs, except for a few years I lived in Cape Town, and frankly having no dogs around drove me crazy...
