I'll be sure to post pictures of the Syl, Egwene, and Gleeman cosplays once I've finished the last few details! I'm guessing I should post them in the Hand Crafts or Fine Arts & Literary Pursuits sections?

Also, about the name- since a lot of you guys have names similar to the names in WoT, I thought I'd take it a step further. As a lot of the character names in the books were based on Arthurian characters, so is mine, in a convoluted way. If you think about it for more than a minute, it's easy to figure out which character.

The Green Ajah here doesn't really "do" anything. Our Ajahs and Companies are more like groups of people who have the same kind of outlook on life, and the same way of responding to things. There is variation within groups, of course, but generally, the individuals in groups have the same ideals.

I am hoping I'll have the gleeman cloak done by Jordan Con, I am planning on making it myself using scraps from other cosplays. My main cosplays at Jordan Con will be Egwene and Sylphrena (from the Stormlight Archive).

Yay another cosplayer! I look forward to seeing lots of pictures. My brother, who has just started reading WoT, wants me to make him a gleeman cloak for next JordanCon. Egwene is one of my favorite characters as well, and originally I was going to cosplay her next year, but I changed my mind a bit. There are some pictures in the Projects in Progress thread in Hand Crafts. I can't wait to see the Syl cosplay. I love he Stormlight Archives.

Have you read any other Sanderson novels? I've read quite a few, and I just started Elantris last night

I'm currently working my way through the Mistborn novels now- I'm nearly done with Well of Ascension.

Everyone seems rather nice on the site, I do like it. Hopefully I can become a full member soon.

I'm working through the third book of Mistborn right now, myself - first time reader. I absolutely love the trilogy. I'm definitely going to get into more of Sanderson's books, since the only things of his I've ever read were Mistborn and what he did with WoT.

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Have you read anything of the Membership Manual, or the stickied threads in the Introductions forum? It helps with becoming a full member. But no rush! Post whenever and however much you're comfortable with, just don't give up before you're Citizen. You will gain access to plenty of new subforums to enjoy.

I've already bought many of the books (from thriftbooks.com, so I didn't shell out as much as I did on the Wheel of Time), and I'm planning on reading Warbreaker next.

Yes, I've read everything I could find on the subject of membership. I'm the sort who tends to read the terms and conditions of a thing before clicking agree, it's just habit to find and read all of the rules and regulations. Currently, I'm trying to decide on an avatar.

I love everything by Brandon Sanderson. I'm currently rereading the Mistborn trilogy, myself! I'm on the first book, going kind of slowly because I'm keeping pace with a friend who is reading it for the first time.

I agree with everyone else looking forward to seeing your avatar evolve! It's motivating as well. If you don't mind my asking, what resources did you use to learn to draw ears? I can't seem to find a good reference for a study at the angle you used. The ear is always too fuzzy in photographs I find.
