FALL BALL 2018
Dates: October 26-28, 2018
Location: Springhill Suites of Tarrytown
Ticket Price: $205/pp to share a room of 4, $310/pp if you'd like your own room with only 2 occupants. I can price out a single person room price if someone needs it!
Registration: Will open April 1!
So a few things here. First is the elephant in the room: the price of the ticket...yes it's a bit higher than other years but I want you to think about where we're going and WHEN!
We are headed to Sleepy Hollow, literally days before Halloween. The town does a whole event during october and it looks *amazing* http://visitsleepyhollow.com/halloween-in-sleepy-hollow/
We are going to be having dinner (I'm 80% certain, but this is subject to change) at Ichabod's of Sleepy Hollow, cause really why not!
This ticket includes 2 nights accommodation in New York which is always slightly more expensive than other parts of the country and your dinner on Saturday night. Each of the rooms also has a small kitchenette and a hot breakfast provided in the morning so really you only need to come up with dinner Friday and lunch Saturday while we're out exploring the town.
Asandra is going to be working through the summer to put together 2 or 3 different tours of the area to appeal to different interests - this part of the country is so beautiful in the Fall so the outdoor ambiance should be lovely (always weather dependent of course).
For those who want to look at other things, there are some amazing house you can tour nearby as well:

Or the home of Washington Irving himself: http://www.hudsonvalley.org/historic-sites/washington-irvings-sunnyside
Tons to do!
Now the other question y'all might ask is why i'm opening registration so early. Well, it's basically because I have no idea of how many people will be attending. The last few years of Fall Ball we haven't needed a group room, and we haven't needed more than 3 or 4 rooms. This year we've reserved 6 rooms, and we're not reserving any separate group space. If enough people have registered *AND PAID* early enough and show me that those things are needed, then I can work on those arrangements but I need time to do so (I can't really call the hotel on Oct 1 to try and make something happen in such a popular destination). We figure that by opening in April there will be plenty of time to save and budget and give me time to make additional arrangements if needed. So tell all of your friends to sign up and get at least their deposits (if not full ticket price) in sooner rather than later so I have a better idea of the numbers we're looking at.
