If you don't mind a little drive, there are tons of us in Michigan. And we go to the Ren fest together every year. We're kind of a big deal.

Lol. Michigan. I know there are a few already in the Toronto area, some of us have driven there to visit. But there are a lot of us in Michigan, and a couple from Windsor who come over. We usually get together not too terribly far from Detroit. For you, I would say a good 5 hour drive. So a little bit. But it's a lot of fun when we all get dressed up and go to the fairs. Meet up afterwards and party and drink balefire and the like.

5 hours isn't bad depending when it is. It would actually be my shortest greyhound trip to date. Just depends when it is. I've always wanted to go to a Ren fair. Haha

I need to get me a passport so I can go to such things! I'm a few hours east of Toronto myself, so it would be longer. I also don't drive, so perhaps we could be bus/train buddies

Welcome, fellow newbie! Digging the costume - I'm hoping to do a bit of costuming myself shortly (though not for any specific character). Toronto seems a great place for cosplay, though - back when I lived in Michigan I'd hit Toronto cons a few times a year (Ad Astra, Toronto Trek, CNAnime...) and the costume variety was pretty awesome.
