Just writing again to mention there are book spoilers for all the books including the last one in this thread.
So. I had some thoughts regarding the Forsaken and balefire. In S1E5 there are those little statues of the Forsaken shown. Only one is named, Ishamael, and then there are 3 more that looks like they could be men and 4 that looks like women (going by stereotypical appearances here). That leaves 8 Forsaken and that actually make sense from a book point of view. Because of balefire. Rahvin, Balthamel, Be'lal and Semirhage were all killed by balefire in the books and removed from the weave and if this TV show is a future turn of the wheel from the books like they claim, they should indeed not be in the TV show at all. It still leaves one Forsaken too many and the ones to pick from would be Sammael, Demandred and Asmodean. As one of the statues has a guitar, I would go for either Demandred or Sammael who were killed by the true fire and Mashadar. I think death by true fire would maybe be stronger than death by mashadar and with one of the statues being a military looking one it sortof fits both too. My guess is that Demandred will not be appearing again but I am not willing to make a bet on it
Either way I think this fits really neatly into the story so far and most of the Forsaken really can be replaced by any other of them in most situations. As a theory it will be very easy to break by any character that has been killed by balefire in the books appearing in the tv show as well. So far however, I have not encountered anything that doesn't fit in and I am kinda excited to see if I am right
