Aww, I started to get excited about this beer, since I like Scottish ales, but not if the flavor is weak like you say.
My friend just made a spiced beer. I don't remember what all he put in it besides cardamom, but it's surprisingly light, very little head, smooth with a slightly bitter finish, and a flavor that can best be described as "Christmas." It was pretty good.
