I wish those codes meant something to me but alas they don't

With my payroll background numbers and money don't scare me. Nor does searching through haystacks for needles and just the way a specific jurisdiction wants to see it.

lol The 990-N is a "e-postcard" that is the bare bones of reporting for organizations with "gross receipts" of under $50,000. The 990-EZ is the next level up of "easy" reporting (for organizations with gross receipts under $200,000) compared to the full-fledged 990 (with no -something.) We do have gross receipts (all revenue) of under $50,000.

I think that is part of why I was on the phone with the IRS for two hours yesterday. "Oh, you wanted schedule X for form Y not form Z! Hold on while I get that to review and answer your questions." I swear I was on hold way more than I actually spoke with someone.
