The 2013 Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship application closed on July 5th, 2013 and the Hall of the Tower conducted two rounds of voting to select a recipient. First off I want to thank all of our applicants and wish them all the very best with their academic pursuits- there were many excellent applicants who I am confident will make exceptional Servants of All in their futures. Secondly, my many thanks to the Hall of the Tower this term for making the selection- the process required time and careful consideration and the Hall handled this efficiently and professionally. They made the tough choices and for that I am grateful!
So, without further ado, I am honored this evening to announce the 2013 Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship recipient of $500 USD to aid with the educational expenses, from the University of Houston Clear Lake, completing a degree in Humanities and Pre-Las, Ms Rachel Little!
You may also know her as our Mistress of Revels, Yelenia Hylraren!
Rachel's essay, which was how the Hall selected her anonymously, will be displayed in the Tower Library here!
Congratulations Rachel!
