Get excited, because here are the EURO PARTY 2013 details! (Please forgive the borrowing from the Anni announcement! Similar sentiments apply as I'm sure you all understand )
We are working on getting a contract signed with Residence Hoge Duin, located in Oostduinkerke, Belgium!! Our current dates are August 30 - September 1st. We'll be renting a part of the building with a capacity of 60 people. Belgium is quite centrally situated in Europe and the public transport is good. From the airport in Brussels (which is closest to the venue), you can reach the site by taking the train and tram. This will take you a good 2 hours and would cost circa 30 euros (to ride from the airport and back after the weekend). Group tickets can be cheaper, but there are certain conditions (age).Taking the ferry is an option too (Ramsgate – Oostende for people from the UK). Again only a short tram ride to the location from there.
All meals from Friday evening to Sunday morning will be included. Alcohol is permitted on the premises for those of legal age (16). For those of legal age, TarValon.Net will provide Goldschlager for our opening toast, as well as water and a limited amount of soft drinks for meals. The rest of the weekend is BYOB.
For eligibility requirements to attend, please read this section of our Membership Manual.

We need your help.
As I am certain most members are aware, TarValon.net took a serious blow to our finances a few months ago – and because of that, it has made it difficult to secure contracts (which require deposits). This, along with the fact that vacation time is always easier to secure the further out we are, is why we will be opening registration on Saturday 22nd December, 11 AM CET. In order to fully secure Hoge Duin, we will need to provide a deposit, approximately 250 Euro, right after we sign the contract. We are hoping to secure the contract by January 15, 2013. If we can't raise the deposit by that date, the event may be in jeopardy.
What does this mean?
We're opening registration early at a discounted price to a limited number of 10 people. These 10 people will receive a discounted ticket price in order to help us secure the contract by paying in full before the contract is officially signed. Unfortunately we can't offer an unlimited number of what is now known as the "early bird" ticket price simply because of numbers. Euro typically has between 20-50 people and we would barely break even if everyone received the discount, so we're going to stop after the first 10 have paid. We will make it very clear once that threshold has been reached, and in the case that more than one person pays at the same time for the final slot, the first to clear will count as the 10th person and the additional cost requested from the 11th. Other than that, the normal process of paying a deposit to secure your place at the party applies. If anyone has a question about this please let us know by emailing events@tarvalon.net or euroevents@tarvalon.net.
How does this affect me?
If the contract falls through and you have already paid your deposit or in full, you will have the option to be reimbursed or to have those funds apply to your ticket for the site we are able to secure. We are working on a plan B, but we will definitely refund you if that plan doesn't work for you.
What is the Early Bird Special?
I’m glad you asked! Because of the unprecedented nature of this request, we are offering a discounted ticket price for the first 10 people who are able to pay in full before 15th January, 2013. The price for tickets for this event will be €80, with an Early Bird price of €65 . Once those 10 Early Bird tickets are taken the price will revert to the full ticket amount of €80. If you are unable to pay your entire ticket cost at this time, remember that there is a €25 deposit to secure your spot for this event no later than 1st June 2013 so that we can be sure we have the numbers we need to be able to pay the contract in full. Remember,we can't count on you attending unless you pay your deposit! Plus, every bit helps and those deposits also add up in the end!
I'm paying early, so I'm eligible for the discount - can I pay the full price anyway?
Absolutely! Just make a note with your payment when you send it.
What does the payment schedule look like?
22 Dec - 15th January 2013 – tickets are €65 for the first 10 people who send in their money
After the first 10, tickets go to the regular price of €80
1st June 2013 – Deposits of €25 are due
15th June 2013 – Full Payments of €80 are due
Late payments may be accepted through August 1 at the discretion of the department along with an additional €10 fee .
Will my merit discount stack with the early bird ticket price?
Unfortunately, no, we are unable to stack these discounts.
If you have specific questions related to personal circumstances, please feel free to email Shariyan Sedai or me at euroevents@tarvalon.net, and/or the boss, Sonea Sedai, at events@tarvalon.net. If you have points to clarify, please let us know either in the forum or by email.
