Things were going well at TarValon.Net. No one had painted the Tower a weird color in months, there were no panty raids, and the Black Ajah was safely under wraps again, even though Rabid Recruit Jessica had outed them almost a year before. In fact, the Rabid Sisters hadn't been seen in nearly a year...
Alas, some poor Brown Aes Sedai had been sent to the 12th Depository and was a bit too absorbed in the volume she was reading about cheese, and she went one door too far and opened the 13th Depository. Rabid Novice Julie and Rabid Recruit Jessica rushed out while the Aes Sedai gently placed the book on a nearby reading stand and made sure it wouldn't get damaged. The Sedai didn't even see the Sisters escape, but, luckily, she was able to get the door closed before the rash'a'coons were able to escape.
Rabid Novice Julie and Rabid Recruit Jessica had been arguing for the last year (since RRJ got locked up in the 13th Depository after coming to the Tower) whether it would be better for the Tower Guard to ride hippos or honey badgers while on duty.
Rabid Novice Julie was positive that hippos were the way to go.
But Rabid Recruit Jessica knew her stupid sister was wrong and that honey badgers were where it's at.
They continue their argument as they dash down the hall and out of the library. What havoc will they wreak this time?
That's right, ladies and gents! It's time for the 2016 Membership Survey! Follow the link to participate!
We will again have a chance at some prizes to hand out if you complete the survey, and - of course - we have some swag! Show your allegiance to Team Hippo or Team Honey Badger with these buttons!
The survey will run from July 3 through July 17!!! Yes, that's a shorter time than previous years, but our research shows that we've gotten 96% of our responses within 2 weeks away, so it shouldn't make too much of a difference.
If you have any questions or issues with the survey, please contact me at survey@tarvalon.net and Kerna at library@tarvalon.net. And, as always, any information you provide is kept completely confidential unless you specifically ask to be contacted regarding something.
A special thank you to our lovely Amyrlin Seat, Rhed, for having detailed the zany adventures of the rabid sisters. Well done, Mother!
Thank you!
