I have waited as long as I can but sadly I have to announce that there will not be an Official Tower Party for 2014 in Continental Europe.
As you are all aware, the position of Mistress / Master of Revels for Continental Europe transitions with the successful bidder and is not a permanent post within the department. Our wonderful Mistresses of Revels from 2013 (Alyssa and Shariyan) have tried to find somewhere new and exciting for us for 2014, but haven’t managed to find somewhere that is right or within an acceptable cost. No bids were made by the wider membership.
With that in mind I will put out a request for bids during the summer of 2014 so please get your thinking caps on so we don’t have to go without in 2015 too!
For those of you who need to fill that gap in your social calendar – registration is still open for Britain and Ireland and Anni (remember you don’t count as on the list until your deposit is paid!)
Finally I would like to thank Alyssa and Shariyan for all their work in delivering our Summer party and being amazing joint Mistresses of Revels!!
