Yeah, no worries. I've been giving myself grace, because I'm still in recovery from the reading slump. And the grace includes not making myself absorb the incredibly dense and technical scenes when they come up. I'll just let my eyes float over the words, and I'll absorb what I absorb...

I will say there's a difference between "work" and "chore." Especially for diving into a 1200+ page book after a years-long physical-reading slump. "Work" feels productive, and "chore" feels draining. And there were a couple of days where I had to take a break, because my brain just felt...

I read Dawnshard along with my current read last night. Dawnshard is such a cute little guy. But, I'm also proud of myself that I can read two physical books in one sitting again.
