:bow Oh, it is fun to discuss books and have refreshers like this; it helps my WoT obsession; and reminds me of many things :look .... But that's ok; we can pick it up later.
Btw, Adelrona losing her warder was in book 12, if I remember correctly.
Having a second bond does nothing to reduce the effect of losing a warder. Examples: Alanna when she lost one of her warders in the Two Rivers; and Adelrona when she lost one of her warders in the Seanchan raid.
Egwene's emotions were a mess after Gawyn's death; but she found stronger ones (anger at the Shadow and Taim) to help her overcome. Warder deaths in AMoL were not very consistent in my opinion. Elayne lost Brigitte but almost felt no effects, only an emptiness and some hurt; and continued as if...
The problem is that Gawyn itched to fight. He couldn't restrain himself from fighting and killing :facepalm . It was the deep down hurt Min saw back in book 4 (if I remember correctly). He was not emotionally stable; or was under too much stress :mad . We see a glimpse of how he sheds the blood...
Gawyn seems to have taken a double dose of Trakand stupidity. It must have been pre-Morgase ancestors! He was never a proper warder. Using those Bloodknives ring ter'angreals is just so bloody stupid, I don't know how he convinced himself to use them. He was using them before Egwene was trapped...
Siuan had time to release Bryne. Min warned her before they entered melee. It only takes a few seconds. But the sticking point is why they were separated. Bryne decided to demote himself to errand boy. He left Siuan to go fetch Gawyn from Elayne's camp. I'm sure another proper messenger would...
I don't remember any specific reference or indication that Siuan and Gareth were married. What I remember from their conversation in Towers of Midnight (around Rand's visit to the White Tower) is that they planned to get married after Siuan feels that her mission is fulfilled.
I remember Lan's words to Rand after his bond with Moiraine was severed; but Lan was buffered by the passing of the bond to Myrelle. Then Myrelle's last warder was restrained till he was made safe. But in the end, Min's viewing is that if they were separated, both would die. The Creator has...
From Great Captains to errand/messenger boys recurs in AMoL. Bryne and Bashere ended their illustrious careers carrying messages; at least Bashere's message was battle orders. Bryne's was "fetch my fool warder!" You'd think that separating an AS from her warder in a battlefield would have...
