I feel like we'll get there with the battle cries. I had to wait for the story of Manetheren, but they got there eventually.
He was CLEARLY checking out the booty, but in a very respectful way :roflShe was all grumpy about him watching her, and i was like, "He's leering at you."
Is there anything particularly significant about the crystal the Aiel was carrying? I assume the carved critter made him a Stone Dog but wasn't sure it there was anything special about the pretty purple rock that caught Mat's eye.
I agree 100%, Katherine. I still can see Sam Elliott as Thom.im sorry but Sam Elliot is still breathing so any other choice for Thom is wrong, and i will forever be salty about it.
Same here. I never really liked Nynaeve in the books, even after she "redeemed" herself. She always came across as stubborn and taciturn. The TV one, though...she's a badass! I can get behind this Nynaeve!I have to say I did not like book Nynaeve. I always found her annoying, especially at these early points. However. I LOVE TV Nynaeve. She is sarcastic, confident, and badass.
I think a sudden brutal attack wouldn't elicit battle cries. It was sudden and bloody before they knew what hit themI feel like we'll get there with the battle cries. I had to wait for the story of Manetheren, but they got there eventually.

Quick thing... Egwene and Perrin not knowing who the Tinkers are? :facepalm I get exposition, I get that we have to communicate things to viewers and new people who are completely unfamiliar with what it all is. But why dumb the characters down for the sake of the exposition? There is no way they wouldn't have heard stories of the Tinkers, at least. There must have been another way to describe who they are...
Me too ... I quite like this Mat.Mat is sooo cute lol I love him to bits. I’m sad he’s going to have a new actor.
I adore Zoë as Nynaeve and think she is just so amazing. And I love Daniel as Lan. I am 1000000% into this relationship.Nynaeve and Lan were always the "it" couple in the books for me. Any time there were interactions, I read and re-read and re-read again. I'm in 100% adoration-mode after watching the show parts with them in it.
I also agree he was channeling. It's not lightning or whatever that happens in the book, but it's definitely got to be the One Power.I think Rand might have channeled the One Power for the first time here?! When he broke down the ironwood door that 3 people cannot break...
