At the risk of sounding like someone trying to convince someone else to not give up on a show... Buffy really does get better in later seasons. Not that season 1 is bad, right enough

I'm watching the rest of the season 1 episodes right now and will share my thoughts next month, so I won't comment much more on that right now. But what I will say is that I was definitely the odd one out when all my friends were really into Buffy, and it is fun to finally catch up on something people I know have been raving about for AGES. But I totally disagree that the cool people didn't watch Buffy. Or maybe my definition of the cool people is different than your coworkers, Eala!
