    I got my third one in last week - that's as many times as I'm allowed to donate per year (Swedish rules). I didn't expect to be responsible for ~20% of Tar Valon's registered donations. :look I definitely hope we can do better than that!

    In Sweden it's only time spent in the UK that counts, and the period is 6 months instead of 3, but otherwise, that. ^

    Yup, that's why there's a difference between the waiting times between men and women here. The actual times are more of a recommendation than an absolute limit, in a way: I think I can go donate again after three months instead of four (some flexibility is good if there are sudden shortages)...

    4.5 deciliters, so a little less than a pint. I can't find a reason for the length of the waiting period online (except for the difference between genders); I'll have to ask about it the next time I go.

    Announcing, then! (and bumping the thread for more visibility, yes?) Today I donated for the second time this year. :D Sweden restricts blood donations to every four months or three times a year for women, and every three months or four times a year for men, so I'll only get to do it once more...
