After thinking about it for a bit... I think Tam didn't get matched because he already was. He loved Kari dearly, their relationship was made very, very clear....and I just can't see Sanderson OR Jordan being able to pull off a believable romance after that.

With Jordan (and Brandon!)'s propensity to match people up, I'm rather amazed that he did not find a mate for Tam. :P
