I think I basically get what you're saying, Aulrick, but I'm not sure it explains the changeablility of the vision based on people's proximity to each other.
For example, once Siuan and Gareth were seen together, Min saw that they need to stay together in order to stay alive. But once she saw...
You know, the bit about her seeing blackness and sparks is interesting to me. If her viewings only related to the future I'm not sure why the visions would change with the proximity of the people in the group. I'm sure there's an argument that it's an indicator that they need to be working...
:lol
Still it is nice to have such a convenient source for information. If I want quotes about something I can just post something glaringly wrong and then wait for Axis to come along. ;)
Sounds like a person has to actually be alive for Birgitte to get a read on them, then. That just leaves the question of whether Min is seeing only future lives for Birgitte (which I am inclined to doubt) or whether she is seeing a general aura that includes Birgitte's past and acts as general...
Well, the only Hero she's ever viewed is Birgitte, right? I can't recall whether she saw anything of the Heroes in TGH.
But in TAR, time only moves forward. If Min can see multiple lives (and Gaidal Cain) related to Birgitte, then there are only two options: Birgitte will become reattached to...
The only correlation there would be that Dreamers/Dreamwalkers can see visions of possible futures. Really, Min's viewings are about pieces of the Web. That is Moiraine's theory at least. This should theoretically include aspects of the past.
I never heard that interpretation of Min's viewing of Lan before. I also question the veracity of that claim. Especially in the face of her viewing of Birgitte. If she's been ripped out of TAR like that, maybe she has to be reattached to the Wheel. If so, I don't know that I see that happening...
Hmm. That might actually fit the timeline if someone cared to work it out.
Kallaes, that viewing isn't necessarily an indication of the future. In fact, the description seems to indicate that it connects to Birgitte's past instead.
EDIT:
This seems likely to refer to Thom's nephew, which...
Besides, he'd have to maintain a weave of illusion that would actually make him seem much shorter. It would also have to make him light enough to climb into women's laps and rest his head on their bosoms. Without a truly superior weave, the illusion doesn't stand up to touch. So that's another...
