Yes! That's exactly what I was talking about. I followed the link to listen to a snippet, and I could barely figure out what was going on because of the sounds of battle.
I heard a snippet of a different kind of audiobook for Way of Kings. It was like a movie without the visuals. Sound effects, different character voices, the whole nine yards. I actually didn't like it, because with all the effects you could barely hear what the narrator was saying.
I haven't decided if I want to read any spoilers :look On the one hand I like reading the books as unspoiled wholes, but it will be so long before this next book comes out.
I've now read the Mistborn trilogy and I'm almost finished with Alloy of Law. The mistborn trilogy was good, but I think I still prefer the Stormlight archives. However, I have enjoyed the Alloy of Law a lot. I love how he's blended the magic system and Westerns for a steampunk-like feel.
