Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure book 7 is where my dad stalled out in reading the series. He was really enjoying it before that book. It's been a long time for me, so I tend to forget which events happened where. Congrats on getting through it at least!

Yeah the Tylin/Mat relationship made me pretty disgusted, as well as the other characters responses to it. He clearly gets raped by Tylin but since he is a guy it's laughed off. :|
