    I am totally with you there, Elorenya. I found a lot of TGH to *to me* rather dull and boring, especially the "guys on the hunt" part. I loved the beginning and the ending and some of the tower stuff, but overall TGH is easily my least fav of at least the first 6 books. :look

    Yeah, I agree about the plot. I felt like I could feel the gears/wheels turning faster and picking up momentum in TDR.

    I found it really touching when Perrin goes back to the Winespring Inn, and Egwene's parents ask him if she's with him. It does give occasion to think about the whole thing from the perspective of those who stayed at home and have so many unknowns to worry about.

    Yeah, the Great Hunt starts off really well in Fal Dara. I went awhile between Eye of the World and deciding to continue on, but decided that it looked like it would be worth reading... ;)
