Welcome to Tar Valon! As a fellow knitter, I'm going to recommend A Treasury of Rowan Knits for a WoT-inspired shawl. This is not because there are shawl patterns in it (there aren't), but one of the sweaters features intarsia paisleys that could easily be converted into a Flame. ;)
