    I'm not arguing with that. I'm just saying that he didn't plan how it will happen. Moridin's ignorance of Callandor's flaw played into his hands. This has Pattern/Taveren written all over it, as I see it. Not gonna say he didn't hope for such a thing :P

    How so? If Moridin wouldn't have stabbed his own hand, he wouldn't have been able to take Callandor. I think it was the orher way around. His understanding came AFTER Moridin took the sword, and Rand suddenly understood the pattern's work at giving him this chance.

    Interesting. I thought he simply used all 3 powers some how, since in a circle, that's possible. The assumption throughout the series was that the use of Saidin and Saidar combined was enough to prevent the DO from tainting them. Rand's LTT's memories made him think that, and he stated it...
