I finally read Skyward and I really did like it! I expected the book to be like Sanderson's other YA books (Rithmatist, Calamity, Alcatraz) but it was completely original. I was nervous that it wouldn't be anything new but I was happily surprised.

I really liked the Reckoners Series by Sanderson. Is Skyward more like Reckoners or Alcatraz and the Evil Librarians?
