My family is safe and sound, but a close friend was not as lucky. He took a bit of shrapnel-like metal to one leg and has a perforated eardrum. At the end of the day a lot of people were thanking their lucky stars that they were still in one piece, all other wounds aside.

I just want to say thank you, to those who donated in whatever way they could. I'm a MA native, though I am living in NH currently for school. I went home to give what assistance I could. I had friends and family there at the race, at the finish line, and volunteering all over the course. I have...
