It's a great element of speculation for where and how things would have evolved ^_^ The main cast are still such babs by AMoL, it would be interesting to see them as adults in their prime.

I tend to agree. And it's very difficult for me to imagine these actors playing out a beat-for-beat adaptation, which I think is the point.

I'm considering whether it's too early to go for Recruit . . . . Buying my Jordancon ticket really put me in a mind to go for it.

It really helps having actors who can bring the characters to life. It's the RDJ effect on Tony Stark, where comic writers actually found it a lot easier once they'd seen someone actually depict him being a lovable asshole, rather than their attempts to write one.
