The Boys is a pretty good show. Weirdly horrifying and hilarious at the same time. Karl Urban is in it, and he's amazing. Prime also has Doctor Who. Kindle First Reads, Amazon Music as well. It's completely worth it for me. I pay by the year.
WOT has different directors for various episodes...
On my reread, I have been mulling this over. I really would have liked to see Rand meeting Galad.
So I got curious what other people would have liked to see. Luc and Isam? More about the mysterious events after the Aiel War? A whole book about Cadsuane?
Just hit Knife of Dreams while listening to the audio books. Yay!
I fell asleep listening to the audio the other night, and I had a dream where I recruited Mat to help me find my dog. :look :lol
I'm also re-reading for the first time since AMoL. I'm on Winter's Heart. I identify with Failed, still. I like a man who I can shout at, and who will shoot back. Mostly. I'm probably more like Tenobia, hance never been married not likely to be. LoL
I've been wondering when the bottom but comes...
I don't think there is anything cute about sexual assault, and the fact that Mat developed some weird kind of affection for her was probably one of the most sickening things in the series.
Elayne. She is the most selfish character in the whole series, imo. She left her country in chaos because she somehow thought she just HAD to be running around with Egwene and Nynaeve. I can't begin to express the complete disgust I have for Elayne. No emoji is sufficient. Just. no.
Hey. Now that I'm a permanent resident of Massachusetts we should get together. Especially now that we're Ajah siblings! Dog you have my email and phone number?
Well, you won't catch me crying over Egwene. From book 1 I wanted to slap her, and that never got better. But as Perrin noted, men choose to go to war, horses aren't given the choice, so what you call "collateral damage" I call victims of human arrogance. Like humans are somehow more valuable...
I think that Alivia must have had something to do with the transfer. Maybe the Baelfire incident paved the way, but I still think that Alivia must have done something to "help Rand die". That was her big job.
I can't talk about who should follow after Rand because it leads to a big rant. But...
1. No resolution on getting Tuon to admit she can channel and to stop enslaving channelers. Plus, Mat needs to go get that woman in line.
2. Rand in another body? Sorry, but that does affect things. But them running off and just waiting to see who will follow him? Prick.
3. Leftover Orcs.
4. The...
I think that, personalities aside, Liandrin's behaviour was suspicious. Why no order from the MoN? Why Liandrin of all people? They did question Liandrin, but I agree that following her the way they did was pretty stupid. Obedience or not, Nynaeve just didn't trust Aes Sedai in general at that...
